Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and the clinical team in delivering high-quality dentistry. You’ll prepare patients and rooms, assist during procedures, take X-rays when permitted, and guide patients on oral care while maintaining infection control.

EFDA certification and CPR/BLS are preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential. New grads may be considered depending on state requirements.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with patient care focus.
• Experience preferred but new grads may be considered depending on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records, when permitted by state regulations and within credentials.
• Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.
