Imagix Dental in Norcross, GA is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern practice. You will support the dentist during procedures, prepare rooms, take X‑rays, and educate patients while maintaining high standards of safety and documentation.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, EFDA and X‑ray certifications, CPR, and strong teamwork. Nitrous oxide certification is a plus in a supportive, technology‑driven team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• EFDA certification required.
• X-Ray certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures and treatment.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take X-rays and assist with impressions and study models.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients.
• Provide post-treatment instructions and support excellent patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Support the clinical team and help keep the office running smoothly.
• Assist with dental and medical emergencies as needed.
