Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an EEG technologist to obtain electrophysiological data from patients using medical instrumentation and computers. The role focuses on recording and analyzing EEG data for patient care and diagnostic purposes, and requires careful documentation of findings.

You will operate EEG equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain accurate patient records, collaborating with care teams to ensure high-quality data and safety.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Completion of an EEG training course approved by the Director.
• National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• At least 6 months of related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Record and analyze EEG data for patient care and diagnostic purposes.
• Operate EEG equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Document findings accurately and maintain patient records.
