Job summary

Providence Swedish Issaquah is seeking an EEG technician to obtain electrophysiological data from patients using medical instrumentation and computers. This patient-focused role supports a culture of understanding, commitment, and mutual respect within a large nonprofit health system.

The position requires an AA or equivalent, EEG coursework, ABRET certification on hire, BLS, and at least 6 months of related experience.

• Completion of EEG training approved by the Director.
• National Certification from ABRET upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with emphasis in the human sciences --or--
• Coursework/Training: Completion of a training course in EEG approved by the Director.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months of related experience and/or training

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
