Frey Consulting Group in Fort Lauderdale seeks an EEG Technician to join our on-site neurodiagnostic team. You will measure scalp locations using the International 10-20 system, apply electrodes, and support routine, ambulatory, and video EEG studies in clinical settings.

Ideal candidates have healthcare experience (EEG Tech, Sleep Tech, Medical Assistant, ABA Therapist), CPR/BLS certification, and a drive to grow toward credentialing as a Registered EEG Technologist.

Qualifications

• Healthcare roles related to EEG tech, sleep tech, or medical assistant.
• CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Registration as EEG Technologist preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Measure patient scalps accurately using the International 10-20 System and apply electrodes for EEG studies.
• Respond to routine and urgent inpatient EEG testing orders across clinical floors.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot digital neurodiagnostic equipment with accuracy.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing, and schedulers to maintain clear workflows.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, manage supplies, and document clinical notes.

• Fundamental understanding or technical aptitude in International 10-20 System electrode application
• Hands-on experience or comfort working within clinical and hospital patient care settings
• Active CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Preferred Technical Skills:
• Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T. via ABRET) credential or registry-eligible status
• Hands-on experience with routine, ambulatory (AEEG), or continuous video EEG monitoring

What You Will Do

• Measure patient scalps accurately using the International 10-20 System and apply electrodes for routine, ambulatory, and video EEG studies.
• Respond promptly to routine and stat inpatient EEG testing orders across assigned clinical floors.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot digital neurodiagnostic equipment with technical accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with attending physicians, nursing staff, and scheduling coordinators to ensure clear testing workflows.
• Maintain clean equipment fleets, manage supply inventories, and document patient clinical notes thoroughly.
