Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage seeks an EEG Technician for the AK PMG Peds Subspecialty. You will perform neurodiagnostic studies under the supervision of the neurologist and help train EEG students affiliated with Providence Health and Services Alaska.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
  • National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years - In the performance of procedures in a patient care environment.

EEG Technician - AK PMG Peds Subspecialty

The Electroneurodiagnostic technologist will perform neurodiagnostic studies under the direction of the neurologist in accordance with the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) guidelines. This position takes lead role in training and educating existing and/or new EEG students affiliated with Providence Health and Services Alaska while working collaboratively with the manager and medical director of the program.
