Job summary

HCA Florida West Marion Hospital seeks an EEG Tech PRN to perform standard and complex EEG, Nerve Conduction and Evoked Response tests, assisting physicians from infant to geriatric patients.

The role includes on-call and PRN coverage in Neurology, with Level I/II diagnostic testing and clerical support. Requires high school graduate; an associates is preferred; BLS certification is required; 1 year of experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED required
• Associates Degree preferred
• BLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• No experience required; 1 year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and complex EEG, Nerve Conduction and Evoked Response recordings
• Assists physicians with patients aged infant to geriatric
• Provides call and PRN coverage in Neurology
• Performs Level I EEG and Evoked Potential diagnostic testing as described
• Level II: perform all aspects of EEG and Evoked Potential testing
