Job summary

Aura Health in Urbana, IL is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to apply EEGs, conduct neurodiagnostic studies, and perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion in Neurodiagnostic Tech or an Associate’s Degree in a related field.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 30 days.
• Independent EEG technician experience reflected in the application.
• Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Disinfecting equipment
• Completing EEGs and documenting data
• Explaining procedures to patients
• Troubleshooting equipment
• Potentially performing all neurodiagnostic tests and notifying physicians of abnormal findings
• Patient preparation, electrode cleaning, and documentation, with tasks tailored to training and competence.
