Job summary

Nash UNC Health Care is seeking a Neurodiagnostic professional to perform standard and complex EEG, Evoked Potentials, Intra-Operative Monitoring, and polysomnography in the Clinical Neurophysiology Lab and Sleep Disorders Lab. This onsite, per diem role supports patient testing across Nash County and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining PACS/HIS/RIS workflows, coordinating Echo and PVL services, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and assisting

Qualifications

• Graduation from an acceptable program of Neurophysiology.
• No prior experience required if a qualifying program was completed; otherwise two years of Sleep or Neurodiagnostics experience.
• Required registrations: EEG, Evoked Potentials, Intra-Operative Monitoring, Nerve Conduction Velocity, Polysomnography, Sleep Technologist (RST).

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff performance and ensure high-quality testing.
• Maintain PACS/HIS/RIS knowledge and accurate procedure billing.
• Perform non-invasive neurodiagnostic tests (EEG, EP, PVL, polysomnography).
• Coordinate Echo and PVL services in ambulatory settings.
• Ensure equipment, rooms, and inventory are maintained and procurement coordinated.
• Assist Medical Director in protocol development and policy implementation.
• Lead staff training and student technologist supervision.
