Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist I to perform EEGs and video/EEG monitoring in the lab and at patients' bedsides. The role requires completing test procedures with minimal supervision, maintaining safety and quality standards, and assisting with patient care throughout the EEG process.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and be graduates of a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic program, with REEG.T certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program.
• Registry eligible or certified EEG technologist (REEG.T preferred).
• Ability to perform EEG procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform EEG tests including video/EEG monitoring.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Identify artifacts and troubleshoot equipment.
• Document procedures and assist with basic EEG reporting.
• Maintain supplies and room readiness for EEG procedures.
