Nebraska Medicine in Omaha is seeking a skilled EEG/Neurodiagnostic Specialist to join our Level 4 Epilepsy Center. You will perform routine and advanced neurodiagnostic testing, prepare equipment, attach electrodes, record and archive data, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Priority given to applicants with hands-on EEG technologist experience. This on-site role requires strong PC skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and BLS certification; ABEM/AAET/ABRET registrations or

Qualifications

  • One year Neurodiagnostic experience required.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Strong PC Skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program required for new hires.
  • Registry by ABEM/AAET/ABRET or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain quality neurodiagnostic recordings by performing routine and advanced testing.
  • Prepare equipment, attach electrodes, record and archive data, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Ensure timely testing, gather patient history, recognize emergent events, and respond to emergencies.
  • Train new staff, manage supplies and equipment, coordinate maintenance, and maintain a clean environment.
  • Comply with organizational policies and participate in safety and quality activities.
