Job summary

Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center in Oregon is seeking a part-time EEG Technologist to provide diagnostic EEG services in hospital and clinic environments. Responsibilities include patient preparation, recording, and collaboration with Neurologists.

Position requires BLS within 1 month, and EEG technologist certification within 24 months, with possible regional travel to Sunnyside, Westside, Mt. Talbert centers. Float position with after-hours call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire.
• Registered EEG Technologist Certificate within 24 months of hire.
• Completion of an ASET-approved program or completion of a formal EEG program.
• Electroneurodiagnostic training program and/or prior EEG work experience.
• Demonstrates customer-focused service skills.
• Able to work as needed for vacation coverage, ill team member and ability to cover sick tech after hours call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic EEG procedures for various patient ages per department policies.
• Perform technically difficult exams using available resources.
• Prepare patient for examinations.
• Perform record processing, reception, file and clerical functions.
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
