Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an EEC Certified Teacher at The Goddard School, located in Charlestown, MA. Responsibilities include- but are not limited to- executing lesson plans based on Goddard's proprietary Wonder of Learning Curriculum, upholding the highest level of health and safety standards, fostering an engaging, diverse, and inclusive learning environment, working collaboratively with team and leadership, and maintaining open communication with children, families, and team members to ensure holistic development.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and ability to design age-appropriate and engaging curricula in accordance with Goddard's proprietary curriculum.
• Strong skills in Teaching and Education, with a focus on child development and learning milestones.
• Effective Communication skills for collaboration with families, colleagues, and children.
• Experience using childcare management software.
• Massachusetts EEC Certification in Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool required for this role.
• Minimum of 2 years in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Passion for working with children and fostering a nurturing learning environment.
• Dependable, reliable, organized, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
• Able to monitor children by sight and sound within 100 feet at minimum.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs safely.
• Proficient in speaking and written English.
