Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is recruiting an Educator-Nursing to join our Clinical Education team at St Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. The role focuses on in-depth nursing education and practical skill demonstrations to elevate patient care across the organization.

The ideal candidate will hold RN licensure, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and at least four years of staff nurse experience; a Master’s degree, ACLS certification, and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
  • Master’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice plus 3 years clinical experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
  • Specialty certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth nursing education and demonstration of technical skills.
  • Promote education and development of direct care providers.
  • Support quality of patient care and outcomes through education.

Job description

Pay Range: $37.71 - $56.57 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking an Educator-Nursing to join our team. The Educator-Nursing position provides in-depth knowledge and demonstration of technical skills pertinent to nursing and the specialty area of practice. The position is used to promote education and development of the direct care providers to enhance the quality of care to patients.

Position Specifics:
  • Department: Clinical Education
  • Core Function: Nursing
  • Schedule: Full time, 40 hrs/wk, Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Facility: St Francis Hospital
  • Location: Litchfield, IL, travel to other IL hospitals as needed

Education Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice plus 3 years clinical experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree. Experience Qualifications Four years of staff nurse or healthcare experience is required. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred. Specialty certification is preferred.
