The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Curiosity-Fueled Learning: Create an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum using Frog Street Toddler, offering hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and creativity in language, movement, and exploration.

Support Growth: Provide a nurturing space for children to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills while encouraging independence.

Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with fellow educators and administrators to continually improve teaching strategies, bringing fresh ideas and approaches to your classroom.

Strengthen Bonds: Build meaningful relationships with children and their families, fostering a sense of trust, community, and belonging.

Lead with Care: Facilitate child-centered activities that focus on the individual developmental needs of each child, guiding their growth with patience and understanding.

Comply with Excellence: Ensure all DHS, Keystone STARS, and NAEYC guidelines are followed, maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.

Qualifications:

Education: A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is required. An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Prior experience working with toddlers is preferred.

Certifications: Must obtain a physical, TB test, and Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances before your first day of employment.
