Penquis Valley Middle High School is seeking a qualified Educational Technician III to provide instructional support and deliver health and guidance curriculum. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the school guidance counselor to implement lessons, support student learning, and reinforce skills that promote responsible decision-making, positive relationships, personal safety, and academic success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction using health and guidance curriculum and materials provided by the school.Work under the supervision and direction of the guidance counselor to plan, prepare, and implement lessons aligned with grade-level learning objectives.
• Facilitate classroom discussions and activities related to, personal responsibility, communication, conflict resolution, decision-making, and responsible behavior.
• Adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Monitor student participation, engagement, and progress toward instructional objectives.
• Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and structured learning environment.
• Collaborate with the guidance counselor, classroom teachers, and other school personnel to support student learning and success.
• Maintain accurate records of instructional activities and student progress as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ed Tech III Certification is required.

Experience And Safety Care Certification Preferred.
