Osseo Area Schools Rush Creek Elementary in Maple Grove, Minnesota seeks an Educational Support Professional - Instructional to assist teaching staff and support students in instructional activities. The role focuses on academic and social-emotional needs, supervision, and small-group instruction to bolster reading and math progress.

Job Description

Job summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and confidence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning by assisting teaching staff and student with instructional support in the classroom.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

• Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
• Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
• Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
• Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
• Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math.
• Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
