Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education required.
• North Carolina Professional Educator's License required.
• Master's degree in a specific subject area preferred.

• Ensures effective communication with students, parents, and stakeholders.
• Engages in ongoing professional growth for self, school, and district.
• Uses instructional strategies that promote critical and creative thinking.
• Implements instruction reflecting students' culture, learning styles, needs and backgrounds.
• Maintains a positive classroom environment and engages students.
• Plans, aligns, implements, and evaluates instruction and assessment across environments.

• Integrates technology in teaching and learning processes.
• Follows safety procedures.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
