Job summary

FMRI Boise, a Family Medicine Residency of Idaho program, seeks a board-certified family physician to join as core faculty. The role focuses on teaching residents and medical students, curriculum development, and residency advocacy within Full Circle Health’s Boise campus.

The program trains broad-spectrum physicians serving rural and underserved Idaho communities. Candidates should have a passion for education, experience with precepting, and a commitment to residency excellence.

We currently have an opportunity for a Educational Faculty member at our longstanding, broad spectrum core FM residency!Family Medicine Core FacultyThe Family Medicine Residency of Idaho (FMRI Boise) program is recruiting for a board certified, broad spectrum family physician core faculty member for a full time position.Ideal candidates will have:Passion for teaching and experience working with residents and medical studentsThe ability to maintain and teach the full spectrum of patient care including outpatient care, inpatient medicine, obstetrics with or without surgical skills, pediatrics, and proceduresPassion and desire to serve the underserved and vulnerable populations of IdahoInterest in curriculum building, didactic teaching, advising and mentorship, and residency excellenceExcitement for GME and advocacy within family medicineFamily Medicine Residency of Idaho - BoiseThe FMRI Boise program is the core family medicine program at Full Circle Health, and is an ACGME accredited, 12-12-12 residency celebrated its 50th year of existence in 2025. We are focused on training broad spectrum family physicians who will serve the rural and underserved populations of Idaho and beyond, and who will be well trained to help lead and advocate for their communities. We are one of the original Teaching Health Centers, and Boise residents train at 4 of the Full Circle Health clinics across the Treasure Valley. We have a large and robust family medicine faculty with multiple areas of expertise, and a strong, talented, enthusiastic resident body. We run 24/7 services at Saint Alphonsus (inpatient medicine) and St. Luke’s (OB and pediatrics) staffed by our residents and faculty. Our clinics have multiple specialty offerings within family medicine, a strong procedural focus, and a large catchment area focused on undeserved and vulnerable populations as a Federally Qualified Health Center. Affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine and the WWAMI system, an appointment to our program will come with academic appointment at the University of Washington.
