Job Description

Primary Purpose: Provide students with appropriate assessment, identification, and educational placement. Maintain all special education records and documentation.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

• Master’s degree in assessment (preferred)
• Valid Texas teaching certificate
• Valid Texas educational diagnostician certificate (preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of writing transition plans and IEPs
• Ability to write BIPs and provide support to staff members working with students in special education

Performance Responsibilities
