  • Clearance Requirements: Tier 1 Background Investigation (Standard Form 85)
  • Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Job Summary

The Diagnostician will evaluate students for potential learning disabilities and academic challenges. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to identify educational needs and recommend appropriate accommodations or modifications for student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop, write, and monitor educational plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support student learning.
  • Attend ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings to present findings and recommendations.
  • Provide consultations to teachers on intervention strategies for diverse learners.
Qualifications
  • Master\'s Degree in Educational Diagnostics or related field.
  • Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of IDEA and special education law.
  • Experience in a school setting preferred.
