Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• ParaPro/ParaPathways assessment or 48 credits with math and English.
• Associate degree or higher may substitute for certain experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs academic and instructional support activities as directed by the teacher, tutoring and reporting progress.
• Independently provides social, vocational, and daily living instruction to students with disabilities to promote independence in school and community settings.
• Independently performs counseling support activities, develops rapport, and carries out pre-approved activities to promote healthy self-concept and identify needs.
• Independently provides articulation reinforcement lessons and drills for speech sounds under supervision of a speech pathologist.
