Job summary

Tipp City Schools is seeking an Educational Assistant (Grade K-5) for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position supports students and teachers by assisting with instruction, classroom activities, and a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include supporting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs, assisting with instruction, and collaborating with staff to maintain a safe, structured classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ohio Educational Aide Permit or ability to obtain.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Assist the teacher with classroom instruction and activities.
• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment.
• Supervise students as assigned.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
