Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent and one of the listed options.
• Successful completion of a qualifying assessment (ParaPro or ParaPathways) or 48 credits including math and English.
• An associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Alternative substitutions may apply as described in the substitutions section.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs academic/instruction-related support activities and tutors students as directed.
• Provides social, vocational and daily living instruction to students with disabilities as needed.
• Offers counseling support, builds rapport, and assists with activities promoting healthy self-concept and social skills.
• Delivers articulation reinforcement lessons to correct speech sounds under supervision.

Education
