Job summary

The Troy City Schools seek a special education classroom aide to support students with Autism and other Developmental Delays. This 7-hour/day position aligns with the 185-day school year and requires working in a highly structured environment using visual supports, schedules, and task systems to support student learning.

A valid Educational Aide permit (ODE) with an ESEA designation is required for consideration.

Job description

This position is 7 hrs/day ~~ 8:15 am - 3:45 pm ~~ 185 days/year

This position is for a special education classroom for students with Autism and other Developmental Delays. Candidates should be able to work in a highly structured environment that uses visual supports, visual schedules, physical structure of the classroom, work systems, and structured tasks to support students.

Note: Proper certification is a prerequisite for consideration. You will need to obtain an educational aide permit through the ODE (Ohio Department of Education) with an ESEA qualified designation.
