Job summary

Rutherford County Schools is seeking a dedicated para-professional to support classroom instruction and reinforce student skills. You will work with small groups, provide feedback, and model positive behavior under the supervision of a certified teacher.

The role requires an associates degree or 48 college hours or para-pro test success, plus basic computer skills and reliability in following directions and routines.

Qualifications

• Hold an associates degree or higher; OR have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning; OR pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment.
• Working computer knowledge.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Establish effective schedule and work routines.
• Able to work under the direction of a certified teacher and complete assigned work-related duties.
