Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 semester hours required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must obtain a valid commercial driver's license with passenger and bus endorsement in NC.
• Must hold CDL with P and S Endorsement.
• Employment depends on ability and availability to drive a bus.

Responsibilities

• Cooperates in developing classroom procedures.
• Assists in preparing materials and maintaining files.
• Keeps supervisors aware of goals and program progress.
• Implements the planned program and supports students.
• Provides program information for evaluation to teachers.
• Supervises students to ensure a safe, healthful environment.
• Operates bus routes and supervises road transportation.
• Cleans the interior of the bus and performs general duties as assigned.
