The role reports to Campus Principal, Assistant Principal, or designee. Responsibilities include supervising small groups, conducting one-on-one instruction, and performing clerical tasks to support the classroom.

The role of the educational aide is to assist classroom teacher(s) in facilitating student achievement; assist the teacher(s) in contributing to the educational system as a whole and to the growth of each student; assist the teacher(s) in aiding each student in developing skills, acquiring knowledge and achieving maximum potential.
Performance of this job will be appraised in accordance with Board Policy DNA. This job description/appraisal form is the instrument to be used for appraisal of this position. Appraisal is a continuous process designed to improve the quality of performance and may affect the recommendation for employment. A performance scale from 5 to 1 will be utilized. 5 = Clearly Outstanding; 4 = Exceeds Expectations; 3 = Meets Expectations; 2 = Below Expectations; 1 = Unsatisfactory; 0 = Not Applicable.
