Job summary

ATS+Partners is building its Education Technology Practice to serve schools and districts with tech strategy and implementation. The Education Technology Practice Lead will set technical and quality standards, oversee E-Rate work, and coach consultants, analysts, and engagements.

You will lead technology assessments across networks, devices, and procurement, tying strategy to funding while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance in all engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading education technology engagements in K-12 environments.
• Strong knowledge of K-12 technology environments: networks, wireless, connectivity, devices, systems, procurement.
• Experience advising senior school or district technology leaders.
• Ability to evaluate evidence, articulate decisions, and ensure quality/ethics.
• Experience identifying procurement conflicts of interest and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology assessments and planning across networks, wireless, connectivity, devices, systems, and refresh strategies.
• Advise clients on technology procurement, requirements, and evaluation criteria.
• Ensure technology strategy aligns with available funding and does not let funding dictate the plan.
• Serve as the senior technical advisor in client engagements.
• Establish technical standards, methodologies, quality controls, and engagement documentation.
• Review client work and coach Consultants and Analysts.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand ATS's education technology capabilities.
• Partner with Engagement Principal on client relationships and commercial strategy.
• Oversee E-Rate filings and supporting documentation; approve submissions.
• Oversee bidding, PIA responses, appeals, invoicing, and high-risk engagements; ensure compliance.
• Maintain conflict-of-interest controls and separation between consulting and service-provider activities.
