Job summary

Concord Academy in Concord, MA is seeking a Director of Technology to unify the technology environment, coordinate internal staff and external partners, and advance a coordinated technology strategy across the school.

The successful candidate will manage ongoing systems and data initiatives, oversee infrastructure and security, and work with faculty and staff to support teaching and learning. This role reports to the CFOO and begins July 1, 2027, or earlier by mutual agreement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five+ years leading a technology department or complex program, preferably in education.
• Experience supervising and developing technology staff.
• Solid knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, data, and tech support.
• Proven track record leading major systems implementations and integrations; SIS transition experience a plus.
• Experience budgeting, managing vendors, contracts, and renewals.
• Ability to align technology with teaching and learning and work with academic leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Concord Academy’s technology strategy and coordinate planning with academic, administrative, and institutional goals.
• Establish clear processes for setting priorities, decisions, and communicating work across the school.
• Develop short- and long-term technology plans with stakeholders.
