Hillsborough County Public Schools is seeking a part-time Paraprofessional for Lennard Adult & Community School. Duties include assisting in planning and delivering educational services to students, with secretarial and classroom support as needed.

The role requires adaptability, dependability, and strong collaboration to support the district’s education programs and ensure smooth operations across school activities.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma, vocational certificate, or GED.
• Experience: One year of increasingly responsible experience in education, childcare, or related field preferred.
• Language Skills: Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic and money handling.

Responsabilités

• Conducts adult education student registration and testing.
• Supports secretarial functions to assist the Administrator.
• Backs up payroll, bookkeeping, and financial aid at district office or school site.
• Prepares reports, summaries, payroll, travel, and maintenance requests.
• Acts as main substitute for teachers.
• Monitors and assists with student instructional platforms.
• Assists with behavior management as needed.
• Performs basic computer skills like keyboarding and spreadsheets.
