Responsibilities

• Assists students with exercises and materials; works with small groups or individuals.
• Reinforces knowledge and skills taught by the classroom teacher.
• Administers and grades tests, records grades, substitutes as needed, escorts students, and monitors behavior.
• May supervise computer labs and assist with basic computer instructional tasks.
• Creates classroom displays; maintains student records and files; prepares teaching aids and materials.
