Job summary

Lee Pesky Learning Center in Idaho seeks an Education Specialist to deliver explicit instruction in reading, writing, and math, 1:1 with students in person or via Zoom. You will tailor interventions to each learner and monitor progress to ensure growth.

You will also build strong connections with families and school staff, using data to guide instruction and support student success in diverse educational settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with students with learning/attention challenges.
• Experience delivering evidence-based intervention in reading, writing, or math.
• Proficiency with technology for instructional planning and delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach 1:1 in-person and online via Zoom; reach students where they are.
• Provide explicit instruction in reading, writing, and/or math.
• Engage in formative assessment and monitor progress.
• Build connections with students, families, guardians, and school personnel.
