Job summary

The Alliance for Children's Rights in Los Angeles seeks a Staff Attorney to join our Education Program. Under the supervision of the Education Program Directors, this attorney will advocate for children, youth, and families to secure early intervention, special education, and education stability services.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active California State Bar membership.
• 0–2 years experience for Level I; 2–4 years for Level II.
• Experience in early intervention, special education, child welfare, juvenile justice, education systems, or work with diverse communities is valued.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for children, youth, and families to secure early intervention, special education, and education stability services.
• Work under supervision of Education Program Directors to support education equity and client-centered advocacy.
• Build trust with families, children, and young adults in collaboration with the program.
