Job summary

Overaa Construction is seeking an Education Project Engineer in the Richmond, CA area to support education construction projects across the Bay Area. You will collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager to administer project documents, scheduling, takeoffs, and preconstruction activities for K-12, colleges, and universities.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience in education construction, familiarity with RFIs, submittals, procurement, and cost-tracking, and a degree in

Qualifications

• Two to five years of project experience across multiple construction phases.
• Experience with submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, scheduling, cost tracking and closeout.
• DSA documentation knowledge or experience is preferred but not required.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the submittal process.
• Manage and process RFIs.
• Assist with DSA documentation, inspections, approvals, and compliance.
• Coordinate with school districts, owners, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, campus reps, and facilities teams.
• Develop PCOs and manage change orders.
