Iowa Department of Education is seeking a proactive professional to lead and coordinate major school choice initiatives and legislative priorities. You will report to the Chief of Staff and drive planning, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of statewide education programs.

The role requires strong project management, strategic thinking, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Remote, hybrid, and in-state travel will be required as needed.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college with degree and six years relevant experience.
• Total of ten years of education and/or full-time experience with college-hour conversion.
• Four years of full-time experience in program administration/management plus related education and graduate education requirements.
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch with program management roles.

Responsabilidades

• Provide project management and coordination for the Department's school choice initiatives and related programs.
• Coordinate development, implementation, and administration of Iowa's participation in the EFTC.
• Support the Chief of Staff and legislative liaison with legislative activities and responses.
• Provide project coordination and administrative support for additional priorities and initiatives.
