Job summary

Google seeks a Government and Strategic Engagement Lead for North America, to shape policy-aligned education technology strategies across the United States and Canada. You will partner with state and federal governments to drive AI-enabled transformation in education and work with Sales, Partnerships, and Product teams to implement scalable initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
• 5 years of experience in the education sector.
• Experience with AI in education, education technology, or strategy design and implementation.
• Experience in stakeholder management, working with government officials, or leading multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate strategic stakeholder partnerships by co-designing system-level transformations with state and federal governments, education ministers, and State Superintendents to reimagine education in the AI era.
• Articulate Google’s strategic technology stack to align with policy agendas, partnering with Sales and Partnerships to drive scalable, measurable adoption.
• Maintain deep knowledge of AI, pedagogy, and policy shifts; support GTM teams and differentiate Google’s ecosystem against competitive alternatives.
• Bridge policy strategy with Engineering, Product, Google Research, DeepMind, Public Policy, and YouTube to tailor partner solutions.
• Develop executive-level messaging to counter objections and position Google for Education as the preferred choice for digital modernization.
