Test Takers in Long Island is seeking an experienced education professional to mentor new tutors and manage Nassau county sites. You will teach tutors to adapt to different learning styles, communicate with parents, and maintain scheduling and records. Most managers tutor 20 hours per week.

Formación

• At least three years of full-time teaching or tutoring high schoolers.
• Ability to master the SAT test.
• Excellent communication with parents.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor new tutors and manage Nassau county sites.
• Teach tutors to adapt to different learning styles.
• Communicate with parents and provide progress updates.
• Maintain scheduling and record-keeping for centers.
• Sign students up for additional tutoring services.
• Tutor about 20 hours per week as part of management duties.

Key responsibilities include teaching new tutors how to:

• adapt to students with different learning styles
• communicate with parents
• stay organized with scheduling and record keeping
• sign students up for additional tutoring services

In addition to mentoring, most education managers at Test Takers tutor 20 hours per week.

Most managers work Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.

Qualifications: at least three years of full time teaching or tutoring high schoolers, and great communication skills. You must be capable of mastering the SAT test and at least one academic subject for high schoolers.

Compensation starts at $75k-95k/year DOE.
