Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Education Coordinator Neurodiagnostic Tech to lead EEG education across the Neurological Testing Center and EMU. You will develop curricula, train staff, and coordinate with accredited programs to assure high-quality educational standards.

In addition to education duties, you will participate in ongoing Neurodiagnostic testing and monitoring, collaborating with physicians and managers to enhance patient care and departmental performance.

Qualifications

• ABRET EEG/EP Certification (R. EEG T., R. EP T.) and CLTM.
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher.
• At least 10 years of Neurodiagnostic Testing experience (EEG, EP, LT monitoring).
• BLS certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Oversee educational program for EEG students and Assistant EEG Technologists in the NTC/EMU.
• Liaise between NTC/EMU and CAAHEP accredited END training programs.
• Develop curriculum for training new technologists and continuing education.
• Provide training for Neurophysiology Technicians and student preceptors.
• Coordinate orientation and training for Residents and Fellows in EMU/NTC.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and policy implementation.
• Provide neurological testing and/or monitoring as needed (EEG/EP).
