Job summary

The Bay School in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking an Education Instructor to support students ages 5-22 with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Brain Injury, or Neurobehavioral Disorders using ABA methods in the classroom. You will provide compassionate care, implement individualized supports, and help students build essential skills.

This full-time role involves collaboration with teachers, direct student assistance, and thorough progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ eligibility requirement.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Availability: Monday–Friday, 7:30–4:00 or 8:00–4:30.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for individuals with diverse abilities.

• Age requirement: Must be 18 years or older to be eligible for employment
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Driver’s license: Valid and current California driver’s license preferred
• Availability: Monday through Friday : 7:30-4pm or 8am-4:30pm. This is a year-round program .
