The University of Canberra invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in Human Nutrition or Dietetics. This fixed-term role (2 years) is ideal for an early-career academic focused on teaching, student engagement and the scholarship of learning and teaching.

You will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education as an Education Focused academic. You will design and deliver units, develop learning materials, and mentor students while building industry links and work-integrated learning

Qualifications

• PhD (or enrolled) in Human Nutrition or Dietetics.
• APD registration or eligible through Dietitians Australia.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Experience designing and delivering university teaching.

Responsibilities

• Convene units and lead curriculum development.
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, labs, seminars.
• Mentor and support students.
• Engage with industry and work-integrated learning.
• Develop evidence-based teaching materials.
