Job summary

AECOM seeks a project coordinator/manager for educational facilities projects in Florida. You will drive project administration, communicate with clients and school staff, and ensure design, budget, and schedules are met across multiple sites.

The role involves coordinating with various departments, managing change orders, and supporting regulatory and financial reporting to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• One year experience in project coordination of commercial/public facilities
• Strong management and communication skills and negotiation skills required
• Bachelor's degree in architecture/engineering/construction management or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project objectives and policies
• Provides direction to subordinate managers, enforces policies, maintains client interface, and ensures project adherence to design, budget and schedule
• May have significant profit/loss responsibility for the project
• Plans and coordinates project management activities for multiple educational facilities projects
• Coordinates with Capital Improvements staff and other departments and school personnel
• Interacts with Superintendents to address questions/issues and monitors change orders
• Assists with regulatory compliance and financial reporting
• Reviews costs and scheduling to ensure on-time completion within budget
• Uses project management systems and document control systems to keep information accurate
• Attends meetings and reports on project tasks
