Responsibilities
- Investigate state complaints alleging violations of IDEA or Iowa Admin Code ch.41 with on-site visits and interviews.
- Provide thorough, accurate written decisions detailing facts, law, and recommended corrective action.
- Coordinate dispute resolution processes and participate in training with an education attorney.
- Develop and revise internal/external policies to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a new complaint database and respond to inquiries.
