Job summary

Old Santee Canal Park is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the Park’s consultant for environmental and historical education. The role includes coordinating the maintenance and improvement of nature trails and exhibits, and expanding programs for local schools and the community.

The position also involves developing and implementing summer educational camps focused on the local ecosystem, delivering engaging experiences guided by state and national standards.

Job description

Serve as the Park’s consultant regarding environmental and Historical education and science curriculum. Coordinate the improvement and the maintenance of the park’s nature trails and all natural exhibits and maintain the interpretive Center’s exhibits and models. Develop and implement expanded programs for the local schools and the community. Provide summer educational camps that focus on our ecosystem.
