Job summary

The Sanneh Foundation is seeking an Education and Community Programs Manager to lead three program lines: Kidztyme, Senior Programming, and Girls First. You will design and deliver afterschool education, while coordinating schedules and partner relationships at Conway Community Center.

Leading a diverse staff, you will ensure safety, program quality, and community impact, with a focus on education, health, and youth development. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree and 5+ years of program management experience.
  • Experience working with youth, seniors, or workforce development programs is preferred.
  • Experience supervising staff and managing budgets is required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Position Description Values

The Manager of Education and Community Programs serves as the bridge between high-level organizational planning and the on-the-ground delivery of educational programs across senior programming, academic enrichment, workforce development, and afterschool initiatives. This role ensures that all programs operate smoothly, safely, and in alignment with community needs — while maintaining high standards of program quality, staffing, and educational impact.

Role and Responsibilities

Program Development & Management

This position oversees and coordinates three key program areas:

  • Kidztyme:K–5 afterschool program serving elementary-aged youth.
  • Senior Programming:Engaging programming and food/nutrition initiatives at Conway.
  • Girls First (G1) Academic Enrichment:Supporting academic opportunities for G1 Athletes.

Core responsibilities within this area include:

  • Planning:Design and support others in designing community programs, with a primary focus on the areas listed above. Ensure adherence to Sanneh program planning protocols and systems.
  • Educational Content:Ensure high-quality pedagogical approaches that meet educational and program quality standards. Build and maintain a digital library and program content repository.
  • Program Delivery:Directly deliver afterschool educational programming, including Kidztyme.
  • Scheduling:Coordinate facility use in partnership with the Director.
  • Registration & Recruitment:Manage program registration and community recruitment in collaboration with the Director.
  • Evaluation:Administer evaluation protocols including surveys, program observations, and workforce rubrics.

Supervision & People Management

  • On-Site Oversight:Provide direct supervision to ensure safety protocols are consistently followed.
  • Staff Supervision:Supervise Conway-based workforce staff; conduct weekly check‑ins with Right Track supervisors, VISTAs, and third‑party staff members. Supervise program leaders and frontline program staff.
  • Payroll & Performance:Manage timesheets and conduct performance reviews for Right Track and workforce staff.
  • Professional Development:Organize monthly mentorship and training opportunities for workforce employees.
  • JAG Specialist:Serve as a JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) Specialist, providing career coaching, mentorship, and advocacy for youth.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Budgeting:Monitor expenditures for equipment and supplies, ensuring programs remain within annual budget allocations.
  • Marketing:Write program catalogs and collaborate with the marketing team to promote programs to the community.
  • Safety & Compliance:Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and risk management codes and organizational policies.

Community Relations

  • Customer Service:Handle community member complaints and special requests in a professional and timely manner. Provide front desk support at either building as needed.
