Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Education Coordinator to coach, resource, and advocate for educators across CDS centers. You will observe in classrooms, collaborate with teachers, and strengthen practice to improve outcomes for children and families.

You will present to leadership, train new staff, and help create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment while advancing Early Childhood Education across the centers.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching teachers and providing feedback in early childhood settings.
• Ability to work in classrooms, observe practice, and collaborate with staff.
• Strong communication skills for pairing with teachers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement, and improve curriculum and activity plans.
• Conduct formal and informal classroom observations with actionable feedback.
• Evaluate classroom environments using assessment tools and provide recommendations.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers for continuous improvement.
• Support positive staff-child interactions and an inclusive center environment.
• Assist with new employee training and mentorship.
• Support staff retention by equipping educators with tools and confidence.
• Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls to stay aligned with goals.
