Qualifications

• Generate original reporting through source development and public records.
• Cover education budgets, enrollments, policy and higher education developments.
• Cover local business openings, major employers and economic changes.
• Produce daily stories and enterprise reporting with context and accountability.
• File accurate stories on deadline and participate in major coverage as needed.
• Tell stories digitally using photos, video and social platforms.
• Collaborate with editors and colleagues across the newsroom.
