Job summary

Gersh Autism Academy in West Hempstead, NY seeks an Admissions Coordinator to guide families through enrollment across multiple campuses with a consultative sales approach.

You will educate families by phone and campus tours, consistently hitting enrollment goals, managing CRM data, and building relationships with referral sources. Travel across West Hempstead, Hempstead, Queens and Huntington, with flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Direct admissions experience in an educational setting (private school, special education, or therapeutic school)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or higher
• Consultative sales experience is required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel across campuses and occasional out-of-state travel
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Educate prospective families about the school program via phone inquiries and campus tours
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals
• Provide knowledge and training as a senior member of the admissions team
• Maintain accurate inquiry and referral data in the CRM
• Cultivate relationships with referral sources (attorneys, medical professionals, community organizations)
• Represent Gersh at networking events and recruitment activities
• Coordinate recruitment efforts including open houses and events
• Guide families through legal and tuition funding processes
• Collaborate with admissions, management, and school leadership
• Audit enrollment statistics and report insights to stakeholders
