Qualifications

Possesses an earned master’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution in education or a related field.
Has a state teaching license/certification or three years of elementary or secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver assigned classes per college policy and course objectives.
Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests and materials; maintain student records and grades.
Engage with students to promote active learning and implement evidence-based teaching strategies.
Monitor and document student performance; provide interventions, tutoring and referrals as needed.
Interact professionally with students and co-workers and comply with college policies and guidelines.
Ensure knowledge of and implementation of emergency and safety procedures in classrooms and labs.
