Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in medical technology or related field.
• Must have one of the listed certification options (MLS/MT or equivalent).
• Experience: GS-11 requires 1 year of creditable experience or 3 years of graduate education.
• Knowledge of quality control, performance improvement, and clinical laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, perform, interpret, and validate the accuracy and validity of test results.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation as needed.
• Read, interpret, and apply complex written instructions.
• Communicate and collaborate with health care team members, external relations, and patient education.
